Defensive and pointy... but luscious? That’s what happened here. It was one of those pieces that I had to see for a bit to understand where it needed to finish up aesthetically. The counterplay between the warm copper interior and the cool colors of the enamels came out perfectly.

For me, it make me think of projection maps, rebuilt as structure...
